Who we are
The Parkdale Film + Video Showcase is run by a rotating collective of local artists and curators who collaborate and seek partnerships with community groups to coordinate the annual community media arts festival. PFVS presents and celebrates the work of artists in Parkdale, through dynamic creative programming including film and video screenings, critical discussions, installation and performance. The Showcase strives to engage the range of diverse Parkdale residents with contemporary media arts practices by offering free or pay what you can programming at accessible locations, free educational workshops for youth, and outreach programs for underserved members of the community living in marginalized circumstances.
